Get on Board Event
The annual Get on Board event provides a vehicle for participating nonprofit organizations in need of qualified board members and volunteers to connect with a broad cross-section of individuals interested in making a positive impact on our community. Representatives from exhibiting organizations will be on-hand to share their mission, strategic goals and volunteer opportunities with potential board members and volunteers.

Comments from exhibitors at Get on Board 2007:
“We found a very high quality potential BOD who shares our passion and vision. And we found one committed volunteer. That alone makes it worthwhile. They sought us out due to our mission statement. We were hoping that would happen, so our expectation was met.”
“One of the people who has since joined our board sought us out at the event based on our mission and location.”
“It is gratifying to see the impressive number of people who are interested in devoting their time to the nonprofit community.”
