Get on Board is an important community event and it will be meaningful to you or your employees. As you know, volunteering or joining a board provides many benefits. Let us break it down for you.
- By participating in community service, you will learn new management and leadership skills including the ability to think and act more strategically. Watch these skills transfer back to the work place.
- Nonprofit organizations will acquire a passionate individual who demonstrates passion for the organization and the ability to contribute critical business resources and expertise.
- Your business will benefit when the corporate name is extended out into the community through professional networking. Also, employee morale, retention and recruitment will be enhanced by the opportunity for board service.
As you are walking down “Volunteer Way” or “Board Member Drive” at the Eiteljorg, you will meet various nonprofits delivering a myriad of needs for the community. Be prepared to ask questions, be informed and educate yourself about engagement opportunities.
Take action today and sign up to attend Get on Board and get ready to invest in the community we call home.
Get on board is intended as a networking opportunity for potential board members/volunteers and nonprofit organizations. By attending, participants agree to the following: (1) not to solicit exhibitors or attendees for funding or for product sales. (2) the use of their presence in promotional photos and video.
