Mark Barnhart (SKL XXIX) has been named Director of the Touchpoint Recruiting Group by Katz, Sapper & Miller.

Laurie Blackburn (SKL XXIX) has joined the Indiana Repertory Theatre as Director of Marketing and Communications.

Ron Culp (SKL VIII) was recently promoted to partner at global PR agency Ketchum in Chicago.  He is also proficing guidance to young people pursuing careers in public relations through his new blog, www.culpwrit.com.

Janet Haley (LEAD 2000) has joined Hendricks County Community Foundation, Inc. as Executive Director.

Kären Haley (OI 2008) has been appointed by Mayor Greg Ballard to lead the newly created Office of Sustainability for the City of Indianapolis.

Carey Hamilton (OI 2007) has joined the Indiana Recycling Coalition as Executive Director.

Scott Miller (SKL XXIX) was appointed by Mayor Greg Ballard to take over as Chief Executive Officer for Indianapolis Economic Development, Inc.

Melissa Pershing (LEAD 2007) has joined The Damien Center as Executive Director.

Kathleen McDonald (SKL XXXI) has started her own company, Career Investments.

Susan Brock Williams (SKL XX and Lacy Society Member) has been named President of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indana board.

Catalyst Construction Management, Inc. was recognized by the IBJ as one of the area's Fastest Growing Companies of 2008.  Todd Stacy (SKL XXVI) is the President of Catalyst and John Lerchen (LEAD 2002) is the Director of Business Development.

Matt Conrad (LEAD 2004) married Nicole Clark on September 13.

Mike Daniel (SKL XXIX) and Dr. Angela Marshall were married September 20 on St. Simons Island, Georgia.

Daniel Evans (Moderator SKL XXX and Lacy Society Member) was the Hope Honoree at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Dinner of Champions.

Sara Hackney (LLA Director of Programs and Member Relations) and Bill Cowgill were married September 27 in Chicago, Illinois.

Tom King (SKL IV, Moderator SKL XXXII), Dennis Bland (SKL XXV) and Mary Busch (SKL II) were inducted into the Indianapolis Public School district's Alumni Hall of Fame.

Martha Lamkin (SKL V and Lacy Society Member) and Yvonne Perkins (SKL IX and Lacy Society Member) were 2008 Girls Incorporated Touchstone Award honorees.

Rob MacPherson (SKL XXIV) and Steven Stolen (SKL XXVII) were married on October 11 in Oakland, California.

Ersal Ozdemir (SKL XXVIII) won the Junior Achievement Best and Brightest Award for the Real Estate Development & Construction category.

SKL Class V assisted in planning the Harrison Home Speaker Series with Class V graduates Jim Kienle and Elaine Bedel (Lacy Society Member) as co-chairs and sponsors of the event.  Other Class V grads and LLA members involved were Darrell Pike, Lee Lurton, Mike Alerding, Donna Reynolds (Lacy Society Member) and Russ Pulliam.  Wendell Walls (SKL VI and Lacy Society Member) was also involved.

NEW ADDITIONS
Kostas Poulakidas (SKL XXIX) and his wife Madeline Hirakis welcomed a baby girl, Maria Isabelle, on April 25.
